Working for an innovative and thriving manufacturing company in Folkestone, as Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for testing of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods produced in accordance with the relevant GMP requirements and internal procedures. The role Keeping detailed, up to date laboratory notebooks Work independently to carry out the tasks allocated by the QC Shift Supervisor on a daily basis Aid in the validation and verification of new methods used within the QC lab Report all out of standard results to the QC Shift Supervisor and take part in investigations to determine the root cause Ensure 5S is kept up to date with the standards audits and report failings Works with R&D/Tech services regarding the introduction of new products for laboratory testing or support existing products Keeping the retain sample program up-to-date Performing testing Support the review and update of laboratory procedures and test methods within stipulated timeframes to maintain compliance About you You will be experienced in quality control, ideally gained from a FMCG environment, with knowledge of GMP and ISO 13485 being advantageous. A qualification in analytical science is desirable.
