New Appointments Group is delighted to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative business based in Tonbridge. With a passion and commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability, our client is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Coordinator who shares the same values and passion for making a positive impact.
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: Up to £27,000/annum (up £45,000/annum FTE)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm (half hour lunch)
Days: 3 days per week, with flexibility to work across 4 shorter days
Hybrid: 2 days per week on-site
The Role: As Senior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will join a close-knit team of three and play a key role in supporting the efficient planning and coordination of the company's supply chain activities. Covering a 12-month maternity contract, you will be responsible for production planning, inventory management and stock optimisation, helping to ensure operations run smoothly as our client's business continues to grow. Working closely with suppliers, you will help maintain the timely availability of raw materials to meet customer demand while balancing inventory levels effectively. You will also identify potential risks, resolve supply chain challenges, and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency and minimise disruption. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their supply chain experience. As the business expands, you will gain exposure to both UK and international supply chain operations, providing valuable experience within a growing global environment.

The successful candidate:
- At least 1 years' experience in production planning and inventory management.
- Experience in managing supplier set up for new suppliers, sourcing materials for upcoming NPD.
- Confidence in using a WMS ensuring stock optimisation.
- Proficiency in planning transport for key suppliers, managing orders and resolving issues.
- Attend weekly calls with suppliers to coordinate orders and deliveries.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and being able to adapt quickly to changes.
- Be comfortable analysing processes and anticipating challenges.
- A passion for driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Being a self-starter and able to prioritise their own workload.
- They can take ownership and responsibility for processes.
- A kind and considerate personality that works well in a close-knit team.
