We are looking for a responsible and organised Proposal Coordinator / Estimator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a technical environment, with full on-the-job training provided. The role will involve working with customers, internal teams and suppliers to understand requirements, attend site visits and produce accurate and detailed proposals. The successful candidate will need to be confident communicating with customers, comfortable working independently and able to manage multiple proposals through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise directly with customers to establish their key requirements
- Attend customer sites to gather further information and understand requirements
- Work closely with internal teams and suppliers
- Prepare detailed and accurate proposals
- Submit quotations and proposals within agreed timescales
- Keep internal systems up to date with current proposals
- Update and amend proposals where required
- Follow up and chase proposals to help meet quotation targets
- Maintain accurate records throughout the proposal process
- Provide clear handovers to the project team when proposals are accepted
- Build knowledge of the products, systems and services through on-the-job training
