We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join a large and established organisation in the Ashford area. Working in a manufacturing environment you will be operating the machines that manufacture packaging solutions. Previous experience working as a Machine Assistant would be an advantage, but experience working within a fast-paced factory environment would be considered.
Duties will include:
- Loading the machine
- Managing the machine
- Monitoring and making adjustments
- Collating output and preparing for the inspection department
- Maintain a safe and clean work station
This is a physical role that will require you to be on your feet all shift. This is a temporary role, offering an immediate start paying £12.21 per hour. For the right person, this could develop into a long-term permanent opportunity offering growth and career progression along with an increased salary based on performance. You will be required to work shifts between 6am to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
