We are seeking a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor to support apprentices undertaking Engineering Level 3 work-based learning qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional with assessing experience who is passionate about developing the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess apprentice work and provide constructive feedback
- Support apprentices with resubmissions and progression planning
- Guide learners towards successful completion of their qualifications and End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Deliver EPA preparation sessions
- Work closely with the Head of Department to support gateway readiness
- Maintain accurate learner records and progress tracking
- Travel to employer sites to carry out workplace assessments and reviews

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering
- Occupational experience in Maintenance, Machining, or Engineering Technician roles

- Strong communication and learner support skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of apprentices
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to different sites
