We are currently recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join our client's manufacturing team based in the Ashford area. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, where you will support a range of assembly and production tasks using hand tools. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling components using a variety of hand tools
- Following work instructions and assembly specifications accurately
- Maintaining consistent quality standards throughout production
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Confidence and competence using hand tools
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.45pm, Friday: 8.00am – 12.30pm (early finish)
