Ready to lead with compassion and make a real difference every day? Our client is looking for a confident, caring Team Leader to inspire and support their care team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care within a residential elderly care and nursing setting. You will be at the heart of the home - guiding colleagues, safeguarding residents, and ensuring the highest clinical and regulatory standards are met.
What You’ll Do as the Team Leader:
- Lead and supervise a team of 7 care staff to deliver safe, dignified, high-quality care
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, medication and clinical practice
- Liaise with GPs and healthcare professionals
- Promote independence, wellbeing and a warm, homely environment
- Support staff development through training, supervision and mentoring
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and full compliance with regulations
What We’re Looking For in a Team Leader:
- Experience leading or supervising care teams
- Strong knowledge of care planning, risk assessment and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and calm decision-making skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- A reliable, accountable professional who leads by example
