We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team. You will help check parts, support quality processes, and assist with client submissions. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Main Duties:
- Measure and inspect new and existing parts.
- Help complete client submissions such as PSW, PPAP, FAIR, and ISIR.
- Assist with IMDS submissions.
- Support tooling sample submissions in the UK and abroad.
- Create and update work instructions.
- Work with suppliers, colleagues, and clients.
- Help track quality performance.
- Support first-off, last-off, and patrol inspections.
- Inspect goods coming in and out of the site.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience using measurement tools like CMM, Shadowgraph, or manual gauges.
- Knowledge of PSW, PPAP, FAIR, or similar submissions is helpful.
- Basic understanding of corrective actions and reporting (8D).
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office.
- Experience in plastic injection moulding is a bonus but not required.
