Production Operative
Location: Lympne
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent for the right candidate
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in Lympne.
This is a hands-on, physical role working across different stages of the manufacturing process. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn new skills and develop within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and handling materials for production.
- Assisting with the operation of machinery and equipment.
- Cutting materials to the required specifications.
- Finishing products through cleaning, polishing and quality checks.
- Moving products between different stages of production.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
About you
- Comfortable undertaking physical work and manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn new skills.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely around machinery.
- A good eye for detail and a positive attitude.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training is provided.
- The role involves manual handling of large materials, with team lifting required where appropriate.
