We are looking for experienced CNC Operators to join a growing team. This is a hands-on role working primarily with metal components on 3 or 4 axis CNC machines. The role requires technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines and perform first offs, checking dimensional quality and adjusting machine settings as required.
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including milling, turning, grinding, and marking processes.
- Maintain production targets while ensuring work is completed right-first-time.
- Follow engineering drawings and comply with quality systems.
- Identify and resolve technical problems proactively.
- Use hand tools such as files, grinders, drills, and riveting tools.
Required Skills
- Proven CNC experience (3 or 4 axis) with metal components - candidates with experience in wood, glass, or plastic will not be considered.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical dexterity.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
- Good numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Desirable Skills
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Cylindrical and surface grinding experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
