Role Overview
The role will provide a professional and welcoming reception service alongside administrative support to the HR team. The role will involve a mix of front-of-house reception, general administration and HR administration, supporting the day-to-day running of the HR function and providing a high level of customer service to employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception area and switchboard, answering and transferring calls professionally.
- Greet and assist visitors, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and general correspondence.
- Create and issue employee/visitor ID badges.
- Provide general administrative support to managers, colleagues, and the wider HR team.
- Support HR administration, including maintaining records, data input, scanning, filing, mail merges and preparing reports.
- Handle information accurately and confidentially, with good attention to detail.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a reception is a must, administration or HR administration role is desirable.
- Experience working in a busy office environment and dealing with a range of internal and external contacts.
- Previous experience supporting HR processes or maintaining employee records would be advantageous.
- Good general computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn and navigate internal systems quickly.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm
