The Role:
- As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in keeping the manufacturing process running smoothly.
- Working as part of a skilled team, your duties will include:
- Operating production machinery including cutting, extrusion, and laminating equipment
- Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Handling aluminium and steel composite materials safely
- Completing basic machine checks and reporting any faults
- Following strict health and safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe production area
- Working with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
Shift Pattern:
- 4 days on / 4 days off
- Rotating day and night shifts 5:45am/pm - 6:15pm/am
- 40.25 hours per week Monday to Sunday working pattern
What We're Looking For:
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good communication skills and enough English to understand safety procedures
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training is provided
