Care Home Manager

Our Client, a well respected, local Care Home in East Sussex is looking for an experienced Home Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position will have held a Registered Manager post previously and have the confidence to drive and manage the care and nursing staff for this established organisation. Evidence of supporting through change with a pragmatic and credible presence is essential; as the key person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

£65-£70,000/annum – 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays

Pension – Hot meals/shift – Free on site parking – Access to on site accommodation if required

Commutable from North/West Kent, West Sussex and East Sussex

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations cover 5/7 days
• Coaching and problem solving
• Oversee multiple personnel
• Occupancy management and safeguarding

Qualifications & Experience

• 5-10 years managing residential and nursing homes
• NVQ 5 in Health & Social Care
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
