Location: Canterbury, with hybrid working

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

Salary: £35,874 per annum FTE (pro rata for 30 hours per week)

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a supportive HR team and play a key role in delivering HR initiatives, projects and providing professional HR advice across the organisation. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will lead and deliver allocated HR projects while supporting the wider HR function across employee relations, policy development, reporting and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver HR projects, ensuring objectives, timelines and outcomes are achieved
  • Research, review and develop HR policies, procedures and processes
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to Managers and employees on HR policies, employment matters and employee relations
  • Support ER cases, including performance management and change processes
  • Produce HR reports, KPIs and data analysis to support management
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support HR systems and reporting
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives and training compliance
  • Support monthly payroll processes, including employee changes and updates

Person Specification:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience delivering HR projects and initiatives
  • Experience handling employee relations cases and advising Managers
  • Experience developing HR policies and procedures
  • Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
