Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Education environment, Canterbury
Essential requirement: Previous professional cleaning experience and a valid DBS
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas, ensuring the site is clean, hygienic and ready for use each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum classrooms, corridors and other designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise desks, tables and other surfaces.
- Pay particular attention to high-touch areas and shared spaces.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Follow relevant cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements and site instructions.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- Dependable, punctual and committed to delivering a high standard of work.
- Comfortable working independently and able to follow cleaning procedures and instructions.
- Experienced in professional cleaning, ideally within a similar environment.
- Able to demonstrate a professional and responsible approach when working in an education setting.
