I'm currently supporting one of my clients who are looking to add an experienced Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Assembler to their team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and can confidently work from engineering drawings to build precise assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components to engineering specifications.
  • Follow all site health & safety procedures.
  • Use a range of hand and bench tools, including torque tools.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Maintain high standards of quality across all build stages.
  • Work well both independently and within a team.
  • Support occasional supplier or customer visits (requires full UK driving licence and passport).

Experience & Requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and a science subject.
  • Previous experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly ideally.
  • ESD experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Confident using hand tools and working in a technical environment.

Skills & Attributes

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using MS Office for basic tasks.
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
