The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of a range of mechanical products and sub-assemblies within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Building assemblies to specification using engineering drawings and work instructions
- Using hand tools, air tools, battery-powered tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Checking kits and components prior to assembly and reporting any discrepancies
- Carrying out basic fault finding, repair and rebuild work when required
- Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness and housekeeping within the work area
- Reporting component faults, assembly issues, or production concerns to supervision
- Working in line with company health and safety regulations
