Salary: up to £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
The role: We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to support our client across their purchasing and supply chain function. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, raising and maintaining purchase orders, negotiating and comparing pricing and supporting effective stock management. You'll play a key role in supporting new product development, planning and product launches, as well as analysing market, customer and product data to identify opportunities.
Experience and skills required:
- If you have a background in purchasing this would be highly advantageous
- Experience of working within a fast-paced industry
- The ability to analyse key data
- Prior experience of working with ERP systems
- The ability to liaise effectively and build relationships with suppliers
- Proficient in using IT packages (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
- A proactive and flexible approach to plan and meet demanding deadlines
