Job overview: We are seeking a Quality Inspector with strong attention to detail to join our clients team. You will be responsible for maintaining standards and ensuring that products meet company specifications and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain quality standards across the production area.
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Reject products that fail to meet the required standards and record appropriately.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports and quality documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with other departments to reduce waste.
- Conduct routine audits and checks to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
- Support the compliance team with health and safety policies.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Report health and safety concerns and near misses to senior management.
- Support with Health and Safety compliance to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience of Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality Inspection, within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- The confidence to challenge quality issues, and decision to accept or reject products
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate root causes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain documentation and records
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- A hands-on approach
