Location: Ashford

Salary: up to £28,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Support with purchasing of stock to maintain required levels.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and stock records.
  • Work closely with the internal sales teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Reconcile deliveries against purchase orders and identify any discrepancies.
  • Review stock reports to ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.
  • Monitor stock levels and place or adjust orders when required.

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong background in administration with excellent organisation skills
  • Experience in a Supply Chain, Stock Control or Inventory would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Competent in using IT packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
