Salary: £28,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Our client is a fast-growing business currently seeking an experienced Production / Machine Operator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role: You will be responsible for completing production orders efficiently and accurately by following job sheets and ensuring all required production paperwork is completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities would be:

  • Preparing materials according to job orders ahead of production runs
  • Setting up production machinery in accordance with job specifications
  • Operating, feeding and troubleshooting machinery
  • Carrying out quality checks before, during and after production
  • Polishing finished products where required
  • Completing relevant production paperwork accurately
  • Cleaning down machinery and work areas following each production run

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience as a Machine Operator within a food environment is essential for this role
  • High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Good spoken and written English and Mathematics skills
  • Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
  • Basic computer literacy
