Location: Ashford

Salary: up to £16.10 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Program and set up CNC milling machines.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Check CNC programs and machine settings to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor production output and carry out regular in-process inspections.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure standards are met.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience programming CNC milling machines, ideally with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling and lifting duties.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
