About the Role

We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join a children's residential home. You'll lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for young people with complex needs. You'll also step in to manage the home when the Registered Manager is away.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and case management
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment
  • Communicate with families, local authorities, and other professionals

What You'll Need

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in children's residential care with supervisory responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Quality Care Standards and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Calm, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people
