Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant - Temporary Contract
Location: Daventry, UK
Contract: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
The Role
We are recruiting for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join a well-established finance team based at our clients UK Logistics Centre in Daventry. This is a temporary 3-month assignment, offering a hybrid working pattern.
The role
Support a range of financial accounting, reporting and month-end activities, including:
- Lease accounting and quarterly audit support
- Payroll journals, reconciliations and reporting
- Monthly and quarterly corporate reporting
- PSA return preparation and PII variance analysis
- Month-end close and Balance Sheet reviews
- Annual Tax Pack preparation for Daventry and Kent
- Financial analysis, variance investigation and internal controls
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations
About You
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Degree/qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Good Excel skills are essential
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with Oracle, Power BI or Power Query would be advantageous but is not essential
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
