We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role demands technical precision, creativity, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality and reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in vehicle applications.
- Produce 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD).
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.
- Work closely with electrical and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Support commissioning activities and provide technical troubleshooting for design issues.
- Continuously seek design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience designing hydraulic and pneumatic systems for vehicles or industrial machinery, including sheet metal and fabrication work.
- Knowledge of electrical system integration is advantageous.
- Experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle sector is desirable.
