The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are looking for an Operational Team Leader to join our client, an independent organisation who provide accommodation services to numerous organisations across the UK and continues to develop its business in both central and local government as well as the charitable section. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accommodation in the Southwest of England, alongside a second Team Leader and managing a team of Housing Officers, who are responsible for property inspections, complaints and the safeguarding and welfare checks of Service Users.

You will be responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and Key Performance Indicators are met, whilst supporting the Strategic Operational Lead for the area.

The Team Leader will also be responsible for areas in and around Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and Wiltshire, but there will be a requirement to cover other areas of the Southwest in the other Team Leader’s absence, for Devon and Cornwall. The role is home based, however travel to the areas of responsibility will be required and will be managed and planned accordingly.

The successful applicant will be expected to attend meetings for their area, and liaise with Home Office professionals, regional Safeguarding Officers, Local Authorities and the police and other emergency services. There may be requirements to manage incidents, and they will need to have the skills and capability to deal with challenging behaviours and situations, offering support to the Housing Officers.

  • 33 days annual leave per annum (25 days plus bank holidays)

The successful applicant will be subject to Disclosure checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service. Full UK Driving Licence is essential. DVLA checks will be carried out.
