We have an excellent long term opportunity to work for a family run Engineering company based in the centre of the Medway Towns. You will initially be starting as a general Operative, assisting the machine operators fetching products, loading them and unloading them onto the machines, moving goods around the site, clearing up and general ad-hoc duties.
You will however be trained after a while on the various cutting machines that they have, offering you a great opportunity to develop in the role. This is a physical role that will include some heavy lifting and you must be able to carry out physical work. Previous experience is not essential, however you must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.
The hours of work are 6.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday, with any hours over 40 hours per week paid at time and a half. The position is initially on a Temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is a great role for someone looking to get into a career within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
