Established for over 45 years, New Air are a key player in the service, maintenance, and installation of all types of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment. We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team and help service our expanding and longstanding client base. Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, service and installation of air conditioning
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on all types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Dealing with emergency call outs on a standby rota basis (1 in 6)
- Maintaining good customer relationships with good communication skills
Based in Southampton and mainly operating within Hampshire and the surrounding areas (no London work). Basic 40 hr week (core hours 08.30 – 17.00) plus overtime available at time and half and double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified in City and Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration/NVQ equivalent with minimum three; preferably five years’ work experience within the field
- PASMA trained (preferable)
- Full driving licence
- Regular enhanced DBS checks funded by the business
Competitive salary based on experience. Company vehicle (private use optional), industry tools and smartphone provided. Predominantly door-to-door pay. Company funded Summer and Christmas events. Ongoing training when required. 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays (rising to 35 days accrued on time served).
