Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence.
  • Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
  • Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records.
  • Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients' social and recreational engagement.
  • Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding standards.
  • Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism and respect, uphold data protection, and participate in ongoing training. Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
  • Urgent Care Concern: Care Worker will immediately report to RM/Care Co-ordinator and will be based in our office.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct Spot Checks, Audits, Incident Management and Learning (CLL). Be able to write and review effectively care plans and risk assessments.

Essential requirements

  • DBS clearance required
  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided
  • Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access
  • Must be flexible to cover different shifts, including evenings and weekends
