Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence.
- Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
- Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records.
- Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients' social and recreational engagement.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding standards.
- Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism and respect, uphold data protection, and participate in ongoing training. Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
- Urgent Care Concern: Care Worker will immediately report to RM/Care Co-ordinator and will be based in our office.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct Spot Checks, Audits, Incident Management and Learning (CLL). Be able to write and review effectively care plans and risk assessments.
Essential requirements
- DBS clearance required
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided
- Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access
- Must be flexible to cover different shifts, including evenings and weekends
