Job Purpose
To manage and support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and client-focused care while driving business growth and continuous improvement across the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Care Quality & Compliance
- Ensure efficient assessment of service user needs and delivery of person-centred care.
- Promote dignity, independence, and privacy for all service users.
- Implement and maintain the CQC domains framework and hold CQC registration for the branch.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards.
- Support the development of branch staff and carers.
- Maintain and grow carer numbers through effective recruitment and onboarding.
- Manage and performance-monitor the training function to meet regulatory and service requirements.
- Manage regulatory notifications and reporting to the CQC.
- Oversee risk management processes and incident reporting, ensuring shared learning across the branch.
- Conduct regular quality audits and provide reports to Senior Management, identifying trends and actions.
- Act as Data Protection Officer for the branch/region, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Report data breaches and data protection matters to the Governance Committee.
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to support safe and effective service delivery.
- Provide stakeholder reporting and feedback to the Governance Committee.
- Support commercial activities, including tenders and contract management.
Essential requirements
- DBS clearance required.
- Minimum of three years experience working within a CQC-regulated care organisation.
- Competent IT skills, including care management and reporting systems.
- Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access.
