The Live-in Carer is responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and continuous support to an individual within their own home environment. Also, promote the client's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being while enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence.
- Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
- Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records.
- Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients' social and recreational engagement.
- Mobility and Transport Assistance: Supporting the client with safe movement within the home and accompanying them to appointments, social activities, or errands when required.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding standards.
- Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism and respect, uphold data protection, and participate in ongoing training. Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
Qualifications
- DBS clearance required
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided
- Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access
- Proven experience in providing compassionate, person-centred care to individuals living with dementia
- Must be able to live on-site and provide consistent care in accordance with agreed working patterns, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the client
