The Live-in Carer is responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and continuous support to an individual within their own home environment. Also, promote the client's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being while enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care and promote client independence
  • Daily Living Support: Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan
  • Medication Support: Administer or support medication and maintain records
  • Emotional support following Mental Capacity Act 2005, risk assessments, infection control, and manual handling procedures
  • Medicines: Administer safely and record accurately (Medicines Act 1968)
