Domiciliary Carer – Stroud and Surrounding Areas

Salary: £13-£26 per hour

Hours: Around 6 hours per day (full-time)

What does the role involve?

As a domiciliary carer, you’ll be visiting people in their own homes, helping them to live safely and independently with dignity and respect.

You’ll work approximately 6 hours per day, supporting individuals with a range of tasks that may include:

• Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
• Supporting with medication administration
• Helping with mobility in and around the home or out in the community
• Preparing meals or assisting with eating and drinking
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Attending meetings and ongoing training sessions

Each day is different, and your support will mean everything to the people you care for.

Who we’re looking for:

You don’t need previous care experience – we’re happy to provide full training. What we really want is someone who is:

• Caring, reliable, and empathetic
• A great communicator who listens with patience and respect
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, with the ability to work some evenings and weekends
• A driver with a valid UK driving licence
