About Nevis
Nevis is building the world's first AI wealth management platform. In just 9 months, Nevis has grown to have over $50 billion of assets under management on its platform and is on track to have over $100 billion by the end of this year. Nevis is also backed by world leading investors and has raised a total of $40 million from Sequoia Capital, ICONIQ and Ribbit. Together it makes Nevis one of the highest funded and fastest growing Series A startups in Europe.
The Role
We are looking for an iOS Engineer who obsesses over the details, who sees a native app as craft, not just code. Advisors do not spend their day at a desk. They are with clients, between meetings, on the road, and the moments where Nevis is most valuable are exactly the moments they are not in front of a laptop. You will own the Nevis experience on iPhone and iPad: what an advisor can do in the ninety seconds before they walk into a client meeting, and what our AI can prepare for them before they ask. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers and our AI team to bring intelligent workflows to life on mobile - fast. This is a highly visible surface with real ownership attached: you will help decide what the app is, not just implement it. If you love modern Swift, care deeply about how an interface feels in the hand, and want to ship the product that matters to the people using it every day, you will thrive here.
What You'll Do
- Design and build the Nevis iOS app, from architecture through to App Store release
- Collaborate with designers to build features that look and feel exceptional on every device
- Turn complex AI output and financial data into interfaces that just make sense at a glance
- Build responsive, streaming AI experiences that feel instant, even on a phone with one bar of signal
- Work with backend engineers to shape the APIs mobile needs, rather than consuming whatever exists
- Obsess over performance, accessibility, offline behaviour and the details users notice
- Hold a high bar for security and privacy, because the data in this app belongs to people's clients
- Own release quality end to end: testing, crash-free rates, observability and a release process you trust
- Prototype quickly, learn from feedback, and iterate
Who You Are
- You have deep experience building and shipping iOS apps in Swift, and you understand what is really happening underneath
- You have extensive experience with SwiftUI and are eager to use cutting-edge features, while knowing when UIKit is still the right answer
- You think deeply about app architecture: state management, concurrency, clear boundaries, and abstractions other developers love to use
- You understand the platform: performance, memory, networking, background work, and what makes an app feel fast
- You know how to ship from scratch and get an app live, including the parts that are not code - provisioning, review, phased rollout
- You obsess over craft: clean code, polished UI, and experiences users love
- You move fast, take ownership, and learn constantly
- You leverage AI to work smarter and solve problems faster
- You make the team better, lifting others up while pushing for high standards
- You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, and give and receive feedback with honesty and care
Nice to Have
- Apps in the App Store, a portfolio or a GitHub that shows what you have built
- Experience with AI-powered or data-rich interfaces, including streaming and real-time UI
- Strong instincts for debugging, profiling and performance tuning
- Experience with offline-first architectures, local persistence or sync
- Background in fintech, financial services or wealth management
- Exposure to backend or web work, and a willingness to pick up whatever the product needs
Why Join Nevis?
- Work alongside a high-calibre founding team backed by some of the best investors in the world
- A fast-paced, high-growth environment with the opportunity to shape how the business operates
- Be part of a mission-driven company transforming the wealth management industry with huge potential for global impact
- 25 days' annual leave & Bank Holidays
- Private medical insurance
- Competitive salary and benefits package, including company equity

✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
