We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to join our busy department looking after the business development requirements within Neville Special Projects Ltd. We are a reputable and well-established medium-sized contractor based in Bedfordshire. We have a successful track record in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors including commercial, education, industrial, and leisure and have a strong reputation for excellence.

As our Senior Site Manager, you will oversee our site and all of the trades and staff working there. You will be responsible for the site management, including site inductions and all health and safety regulations, together with excellent programming skills which will ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

  • To ensure that safe systems of work are in place on their site and that all staff and operatives on site adhere to those systems and safe standards of behaviour.
  • To manage productivity on site so that the project is completed on time.
  • To manage the activity on site in a way that adheres to contract and cost constraints.
  • To ensure that the site has minimal impact on the environment and local community.
  • To manage interfaces between the various stakeholders associated with the site.
  • To ensure that the project is completed to the specification and quality demanded by the client.

Role Experience and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Familiar with industry ISO standards.
  • Ability to communicate comfortably with a variety of customers from different industries.
  • Leader of people.
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation, and communication skills.

You will possess the following qualifications:

  • Appropriate grade current CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • HNC in Construction Management (or equivalent) or be qualified by experience

Package:

  • On-site parking (Head Office).
  • Provision of all necessary PPE.
  • 33 days a year inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Contributory pension.
