Your role here: From Day 1, you play a key role by ensuring that all goods are shipped or collected efficiently and cost-effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that the customer’s delivery expectations are met, documentation is prepared to a high level of accuracy, and that company efficiencies are maintained.
Your experience and background:
- Ensuring that goods have been collected and shipped as expected.
- Communicating the relevant information to customers when goods are ready for collection.
- Negotiating improved prices for larger loads or regular business.
- Helping, supporting and covering the role of other Logistics Team members.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of ERP system integration with outside software models (TMS).
