Our small but effective, close-knit team are backed by 10 years of happy customers, from online P&A sales, mobile bike repairs, communitarian cycle advocacy and our Orro and Cube dealership just inside the M60. Our reputation is for high-quality servicing of bikes, fair pricing and probably a bit more vibey than most shops, located a few metres from the Deaf Institute and Sugden gym you will work across both sites and across the business – getting a 360-degree view of what we are up to, where we are heading and how we will get there. But it all starts with being able to perform servicing at the highest level across all bikes, from £50 bangers to £13k bike porn – we want good customers to leave happy and supported, so they tell their friends.

Responsibilities & Duties- To understand and meet weekly labour targets.
- Oversee trial days within the workshop and be included in the interview process.
- Managing daily repair workload and delegating to a team of mechanics/bike builders ensuring high quality of work.
- Constant review on tooling needs and condition of existing tools.
- Training and development of Mechanic and Bike Builders to company expectations.
- Motivate and engage team and customers on daily basis.
- Workshop calendar management and monitoring lead times to ensure growth of customer base and workshop efficiency.
- Diagnosing/identifying problems for accurate service and repair.
- Provide guidance on labour pricing structure to all colleagues and customers in store.
- Ability to form quotes for repair within a customer’s budgetary constraints whilst empathising with their aspirations.
- The ability to carry out all types of servicing at the most professional level.
- Keep the workshop stocked with service items, cables, cleaning products and PPE.
- A high level of product knowledge, knowing supplier brands.
- Keep presentation of workshop to our high standards.
- Knowledge and experience of POS systems will help.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner and adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety.
- Dealing with boxed bikes on a daily basis, unpacking, storing and adequately dealing with cardboard waste and recycling.
- Make all customers feel SUPER welcome and solve issues in a professional, friendly and personable manner.
- Cytech 2 & 3/equivalent qualifications.
- Brand specific training.
- 2 years+ experience of working as a mechanic within a professional high-paced environment.
- Previous significant workshop experience.
- Great communication skills/organisation.

- The ability to lift and deal with bikes 25kg+.
