About this position

The opportunity

You'll be the owner of media sales at Dizplai, taking an established proposition and substantial inventory to market, reporting into the Commercial Director. Working directly with our commercial, creator and product teams, you'll build agency and brand relationships, develop international sales partnerships and grow a new revenue function within the business. The initial focus will be sport, where our properties already generate millions of views, impressions and interactions. From there, the ambition is to take the same model into new creator-led audience verticals and markets.

Across the Dizplai network, we already have access to:

  • More than 10 million followers
  • Over 6 billion annual impressions
  • Nearly 200 million annual engagements
  • More than 160 hours of live and original content every month
  • Campaigns capable of delivering more than 50 million video views

The proposition, technology and inventory are ready. We're looking for a Commercial Lead to take them to market and turn that scale into a significant revenue stream.

The role

You'll be responsible for taking a new style of media inventory to market, built around high-attention, interactive formats - delivering a higher impact than programmatic or traditional interruptive advertising. Your focus will be on building relationships and generating revenue through:

  • Brands and media agencies
  • International agencies and advertisers
  • Regional media sales houses and representation partners

You'll identify the right routes to market for our inventory - selling directly where appropriate and building international partnerships that allow our content to be monetised effectively across different territories.

The opportunities you'll sell include:

  • Live advertising and branded integrations
  • Sponsorship and brand partnerships
  • Branded data, graphics and live segments
  • Interactive and second-screen activations
  • Major event and season-long partnerships

Some deals will be audience based media buys. Others will be six-figure sponsorships combining branded content, talent, media and technology. You'll need to be confident selling both. You'll also help take new inventory to market as we add creator and channel partner properties to our existing sports networks and expand into entertainment, gaming, culture and other high-engagement categories.

What we need

We're looking for an established media salesperson with a strong network and a proven ability to generate significant revenue. You'll ideally bring:

  • 7+ years in media, advertising, sponsorship or partnerships sales
  • Strong relationships across media agencies and brands
  • Experience selling digital video, social, creator-led media or premium content
  • A strong understanding of CPMs, audiences, inventory and campaign measurement
  • Experience creating and selling integrated sponsorships
  • A track record of consistently hitting ambitious revenue targets
  • The ability to open doors and create opportunities, not simply respond to briefs
  • Experience working with international media partners or sales houses
  • The commercial judgement to choose the right direct and partner-led routes to market

This isn't influencer marketing. We're building scalable media networks around live creator audiences. That means combining the trust and engagement of individual creators with the scale, consistency, measurement and commercial structure expected by major brands, agencies and international media partners.
