As Warehouse Manager you will oversee the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of warehouse functions, including inventory control, inbound and outbound processes, and team management. This role entails direct leadership of one of five operational shifts, ensuring that daily activities align with the broader warehouse strategy. The position demands a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, emphasizing performance management, continuous improvement, and maintaining high operational standards across all shifts. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with external third-party logistics partners to enhance logistics efficiency while upholding rigorous safety and compliance standards.
Your profile
- Over 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS, ERP, TMS) and established supply chain best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in dynamic operational settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
- Permanent right to work in the UK (the company is located in Northern Ireland).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Transport or Logistics.
Our Offer
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week with 30 minutes unpaid lunch.
- Week 1: 06:30 – 16:00 (9 Hrs) Mon - Thu
- Week 2: 14:30 – 00:00 (9 Hrs) Mon - Thu
- Fri: 08:00 – 12:00 (4 Hrs)
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 per annum.
