Role Overview
Reporting to the Global Ecommerce Manager, the Ecommerce Executive will play a key role in executing our online trading strategy, managing the French website, and analysing performance to drive growth. The role involves close collaboration with marketing, merchandising, design and DevOps teams to optimise site performance, enhance the customer journey and increase online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Management: Oversee daily operations of the French e-commerce site, ensuring accurate promotions, product listings, SEO and translations.
- Trading: Support the online trading plan to boost revenue and conversion.
- Content Localisation: Translate and adapt content, product descriptions, and campaigns into fluent French, ensuring accuracy in terminology, spelling, and currency, while meeting local compliance standards.
- Sales & Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, sales, etc.), preparing reports with actionable insights using GA4 and HotJar.
- Marketing Coordination: Partner with digital marketing teams to deliver campaigns, SEO initiatives, newsletters and paid media tailored to the French market.
- Customer Journey Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements to UX, checkout and overall customer experience.
- Competitor Analysis: Benchmark competitor activity to uncover opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Collaboration: Partner with customer service teams to deliver a seamless experience for French-speaking customers and provide support for trade reviews in other regions as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in French (native-level or equivalent) and English – both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within fashion, jewellery, or luxury goods.
- Strong understanding of French online consumer behaviour and digital trends.
- Experience with CMS, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or similar), and Google Analytics.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
