The Head of Legal will serve as the leader responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and governance matters for the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the board of directors, the Head of Legal will provide strategic legal counsel to the company’s leadership and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions where the company operates. This role is critical in managing risk, supporting business growth, and maintaining the company’s reputation as an ethical and compliant organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Legal Guidance
- Advise the CEO, executive team, and board of directors on legal strategies, regulatory requirements, and potential risks.
- Provide counsel on business strategies, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and other high-stakes matters.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in legal and regulatory landscapes affecting the business, including those in countries of operation (UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, and India).
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and government agencies.
