Role Overview
Reporting to the Global E-commerce Manager, the E-commerce Executive (Maternity Cover) will play a key role in executing our online trading strategy and analysing performance to drive growth. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across marketing, merchandising, design, and DevOps to optimise site performance, enhance the customer journey, and increase online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Trading Performance
- Track and report on key metrics such as revenue, traffic, users, COA, and AOV
- Analyse category-level performance to identify trends and opportunities
- Compile and present monthly KPI reports for core regions
- Identify top sellers and maximise their visibility
- Web Analytics & User Behaviour
- Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to monitor site performance and campaign impact
- Review Hotjar session recordings to identify UX issues or drop-off points
- Conduct path exploration and funnel analysis to support conversion improvements
- Website Content & Testing
- Upload blog and content updates to the website
- Perform regular QA and functionality testing (including checkout)
- Support A/B testing setup and monitor experiment performance
- Promotions & Campaign Analysis
- Track the performance of promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal events
- Provide insights and data support during key trading periods
- Competitor & Market Review
- Conduct monthly reviews of competitor activity, site experience, and promotional strategies
- Identify opportunities for differentiation or market alignment
- PPC, SEO & Keyword Insights
- Collaborate with the PPC team to align campaign performance with trading goals
- Flag low COA opportunities and underperforming categories
- Partner with the SEO team to analyse traffic or revenue drops
- Use SEMrush (or similar tools) to monitor keyword rankings and competitor positioning
Requirements
- Proven experience in ecommerce management, ideally within fashion, jewellery, or luxury goods
- Experience with CMS and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or similar)
- Proficient in Google Analytics, with a solid understanding of SEO and PPC principles
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
