We are seeking a skilled Jewellery Polisher to join our luxury jewellery workshop based in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role working predominantly with Platinum and Gold, ensuring exceptional finishes to the highest quality standards.
This role may suit professionals currently working as a Jewellery Polisher, Bench Jeweller, Goldsmith, Jewellery Finisher, or Manufacturing Jeweller.
Key Responsibilities- Precision polishing and finishing of fine jewellery using specialist tools and equipment
- Working primarily with Platinum and Gold, with some Silver
- Identifying and correcting surface imperfections using magnification and controlled lighting
- Applying appropriate polishing techniques for different metals and finishes
- Maintaining strict quality control standards to meet company and customer expectations
- Working closely with setters, mounters, and other jewellery professionals within the workshop
- Minimum 1 year of experience in jewellery polishing or a similar role within the jewellery industry
- Experience working with precious metals (Gold and Platinum essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled workshop team
