As a result of continued AUM growth, we are seeking a Junior Equity Analyst to join our London-based Investment Team. The role is primarily focused on fundamental equity research, portfolio monitoring, and investment support, offering broad exposure across global markets and sectors. The successful candidate will also help improve internal processes and tools, including the practical use of data and AI-driven solutions where relevant. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive, and intellectually curious individual with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, looking to build a long-term career in equity investing within a dynamic and growing firm.
What You Will Do
- Equity Research & Portfolio Monitoring (Core Focus)
- Monitor and analyse global equity markets, portfolio holdings and watchlist companies
- Conduct fundamental research including financial analysis, valuation, earnings review, and industry analysis
- Contribute to idea generation across global equities
- Develop investment views supported by rigorous analysis and data
- Track and communicate relevant market and company developments to the Investment Team
- Portfolio & Investment Support
- Support portfolio reviews and performance analysis
- Prepare investment committee materials and internal reporting
- Assist with presentations, market commentary, and investor communications
- Modelling, Data & Process Improvement
- Maintain and enhance financial models, screening tools, and portfolio monitoring frameworks
- Improve processes for research, data analysis, reporting, and portfolio monitoring
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
- Develop internal tools using Excel, VBA, Python, and AI-enabled workflows
- Apply AI tools to automate tasks, improve productivity, and support broader business processes
- Systems & Data
- Work with financial data platforms such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg
- Ensure data quality and consistency across investment tools and outputs
Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience & Education
- 2+ years’ experience in equity research, asset management, or wealth management
- Strong interest in equity markets and fundamental investing
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
- Familiarity with Python and/or VBA preferred
- Ability to build practical tools using Excel, VBA, Python, and AI-assisted development
- Strong interest in applying AI to investment research, analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Market Knowledge
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques
- Interest in global equities across sectors; familiarity with the TMT sector is a plus
- Experience with Refinitiv preferred; Bloomberg is advantageous
- Core Capabilities
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate investment ideas
- Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy across analysis, models, and materials
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to take initiative and drive workstreams independently

Other information:
- Location: Fully office-based in St James’s, London – no hybrid arrangement
- Start Date: ASAP
- Salary: competitive, plus discretionary year-end bonus
- Benefits: 23 days’ annual leave and company pension scheme
- Hours: Standard hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm, although flexibility will be required depending on business and market activity
- This is a permanent position, subject to a 6-month probationary period.
