Overview

Our client is a well-established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment and systems. They are looking to appoint a Product Manager to work on a key line within their power products portfolio.

The Role

You will take ownership of a specific product range, managing the full lifecycle from strategy through to market delivery. This is a commercially focused role requiring both strong technical understanding and the ability to position and grow products in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision
  • Manage the full product lifecycle (cradle to grave)
  • Lead new product introductions and portfolio development
  • Gather and translate customer and market insights into product improvements
  • Support sales and marketing with product positioning and value proposition
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding of medium to high voltage equipment.
  • Experience in product management or product marketing within an engineering/manufacturing environment
