We are a specialist manufacturer of complex, low-volume metallic assemblies serving the aerospace, defence, and medical sectors. Operating from our dedicated campus in Eynsham, we design and produce a range of non-ferrous components, including proprietary technologies that set us apart in the marketplace.
Due to continued growth within the aerospace and defence industries, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on industrialising products from initial concept through testing and into full-scale production, using structured APQP methodologies. This is a permanent position, based on-site in Eynsham, five days per week.
What you will do:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams during new product introduction phases, ensuring successful and timely product launches.
- Implement robust processes driven by DFMEA, DVP, and PFMEA, with effective risk identification and mitigation.
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans in collaboration with internal teams and customers. Act as the primary technical point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take full ownership of APQP processes to ensure quality, compliance, and successful delivery. Manage pilot builds and initial production runs to validate manufacturing processes and product performance.
