If you know your way around Goods In, can confidently book materials onto an ERP system and understand the importance of getting stock and traceability right first time, this role should be of interest. We re looking for someone who can take ownership of incoming materials within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. You ll be checking deliveries, matching parts against purchase orders, booking stock onto the system and making sure everything is correctly identified and ready to support production. This isn t simply an unloading and put-away role. You ll be an important part of the manufacturing process, spotting discrepancies early and making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. What you ll be doing You ll manage incoming deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors, checking materials against purchase orders, delivery notes and supporting documentation. Day to day, this will include: Receiving and checking incoming materials and components Booking goods into SAP or a similar ERP system Checking quantities, packaging, condition and documentation Labelling and allocating materials to the correct locations Maintaining accurate stock records and material traceability Identifying and quarantining damaged or non-conforming materials Raising discrepancies where deliveries don t match the order
