We are a medium-sized business based in Eynsham, who supply precision and low-volume composite parts to the medical, aerospace and F1 industries. We have a modern R&D facility with free onsite parking.

We are seeking a Production Operator to manufacture large composite components used within the medical industry. The role involves preparing mould tooling, operating automated spraying equipment, supporting fibre, resin and curing processes, conducting material tests, and ensuring full product traceability and quality compliance.

The Operator will rotate across different stages of the manufacturing process, supporting production throughput while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and process control. Please note this role includes safe but localised elevated temperatures, and some heavy lifting with mechanical equipment.

What you will do:

  • Prepare composite mould tooling, including cleaning, release agent and silicone application.
  • Conduct gel testing and resin mix testing to verify material readiness before production.
  • Load and secure mould tools onto the spindle equipment ready for automated processing.
  • Operate and monitor pre-programmed robotic spray systems while managing fibre feed.
  • Remove finished parts from mould tools.
  • First stage in process inspection using pre-programmed CMM. Low level fault finding will be picked up by the inspection team.
  • Load and unload curing ovens safely.
  • Prepare and perform testing on composite samples.
  • Record manufacturing data and traceability information within the production system.
  • Kit, package and prepare finished composite parts for downstream processes or shipment.

Essential:

  • Ability to follow structured processes and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Comfortable working with industrial equipment, ovens and robotic systems.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts – currently earlies and lates so please consider transport.
  • Manual handling capability.
  • Indefinite right to work.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in composites manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of composite materials and curing processes.
  • Experience with rigging and slinging.
