- Productivity (UPH)
- Automation deployment
- Engineering capability and talent development
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing engineering managers and automation teams across multiple European sites
- Creating and executing a clear regional engineering roadmap
- Driving yield improvement and process stability using structured, data-led methodologies
- Identifying and implementing automation, robotics, and digital solutions
- Standardising SOPs, tooling, and engineering governance across sites
- Supporting new program introductions and ensuring technical readiness
- Partnering with commercial teams on customer discussions, RFQs, and solution design
- Managing engineering budgets, resource planning, and project prioritisation
You will be highly visible, working closely with Site GMs, senior regional leadership, and customer stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
You are likely currently a:
- Regional Engineering Director
- Head of Engineering with multi-site responsibility
- Senior Engineering Leader ready to step into broader European scope
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading engineering across multiple operational sites
- Strong background in automation, process engineering, and CI
- Experience within electronics, EMS, refurbishment, technical manufacturing, or similar high-mix environments
- Demonstrable impact on yield, productivity, and cost reduction
- Confidence operating in customer-facing technical environments
- A structured, analytical, yet pragmatic leadership style
- Comfort travelling extensively and being physically present where impact is needed
What Makes This Opportunity Different
- True regional influence, not just title
- Direct impact on operational performance and customer delivery
- Opportunity to align and modernise engineering capability across Europe
- A business that values data, discipline, and execution
If you’re an engineering leader who prefers building capability in the field rather than sitting behind a desk, this is a role where your impact will be tangible and visible.
